When I was younger, I never worried too much about people breaking into my home. It wasn’t that I lived in a secure neighborhood—that was far from the case—I simply didn’t have anything worth stealing. Now that I’m older and have had a chance to accrue some valuables, I’m much more conscious of the threat that burglars pose. Not only do my jewelry and gold bullion need protection, so do my private documents.
Opening up a deposit box at the bank is an option, but who wants to drive down there every time you want to break out the diamond encrusted Rolex? I used to think that wall safes were only used in the movies, but I’ve found them to be the perfect option for storing my precious goods. Since the wall safe is flush with the rest of the wall, I can simply hang a piece of art over it nobody suspects a thing.
