electronic fire safe

Before I got my own place, my parents kept track of all my important documents—birth certificate, passport, social security card, etc. Now that I’m on my own I obviously need that stuff with me, but it’s a huge responsibility. I mean, with that information virtually anyone could steal my identity. Not only that, if the documents were to be damaged or destroyed, it would take me months to get replacements.

In order to protect my valuables and put my mind at ease, I recently got an electronic fire safe for my apartment. The dealer ensured me that the locking mechanism was impregnable, which makes me happy because my new residence is on the Southside. And since the unit is fireproof, I’ll be able to evacuate immediately if there’s a fire, instead of fumbling with the combination of my safe.
