Electronic safes are the latest in electronic security. Basically one of two types, they are also more convenient than traditional mechanical safes. The two available types are electronic keypad and biometric. An electronic keypad safe uses a keypad like the one found on an ATM machine - you enter a PIN number on the keypad to open the safe. A biometric safe uses a fingerprint scanner to grant access to the safe.
Electronic safes also allow you to grant access to multiple persons using different PIN numbers (or fingerprints). This allows you to view a report that shows when the safe was accessed and by whom. This feature is called audit trail, and provides an extra level of security for your business.
