The HS-1600E is a 2 HOUR FIREPROOF OFFICE SAFE.

I had a customer call requesting this particular safe, but the manufacturer is out of stock until the beginning of June. I let the customer know that I have a scratch and dent HS-1600E available and am offering $100’s off. Since I offered the discount to that customer, I want to offer it to anyone who may be interested in the HS-1600E. Now, I only have one scratch and dent left. You can hardly notice the damage. It’s still under warranty and shipping is included. It’s an awesome safe, and we’d never offer a scratch and dent safe if it affected the quality of protection in anyway. You have to call me in order to get the special discounted price. Hope to hear from you soon, before it’s gone!!!!

If you are looking for a safe to store your precious flash-drives, floppy discs, pictures, CDs, Etc., you don’t want to look at just any regular safe. You want to check out MEDIA SAFES or DATA SAFES. You’re probably wondering why it really matters. Let me educate you a little. As you can see in the picture above, you’ll notice a safe within a safe on this particular model. The reasoning behind this is more protection for those heat sensitive materials. If there is a fire, the outside safe will be able to handle degrees up to 1832. So while the outside is burning up, the inside compartment will be able to keep the temperature inside at a cool 125 degrees, which is a happy temp for your media materials.

You’ll also notice that there is not a bolt hole, but this safe weighs 354lbs. So, it won’t be very easy for someone to just come in and walk out with your safe.

This MEDIA SAFE comes with an electronic keypad, which makes getting in and out of the safe more convenient. I would recommend the electronic keypad over key entry or combination lock because of the convenience.

Sentry safe

Sentry safes have been in the safe manufacturing business for more than 75 years.  They are one of the leaders in the industry and offer a wide range of safes for home and business use.  They also have gun safes and data and document security as well.  They have electronic safes and biometric safes too.

There’s always a Sentry safe that can provide solution to your safekeeping need. They offer a variety of safes that are fire, burglar and media rated.  The fire rating will determine how many hours the safe can withstand a 1700ーF fire without the internal temperature rising to above 350ーF for documents or 125ーF for electronic media.  The burglary rating refers to the amount of time the safe can resist from being opened by skilled thieves given the various tools they have.  And the media rating test the humidity inside the safe and that it should not rise above 80% during the fire test to protect the electronic media inside.
