Electronic Safes

Advances in technology have produced electronic safes that rival or even exceed the security provided by safes with mechanical locking mechanisms.  Electronic safes are available with two basic types of locking mechanisms - the electronic keypad or the biometric lock.  An electronic keypad lock functions much like an ATM or a debit-card machine - you open the safe by entering a PIN number on an electronic keypad.  And most electronic keypad safes allow you to add multiple users with different PIN numbers - this  way you can track who has accessed the safe and when.

Biometric safes are the latest advance in safe technology.  They use a biometric device, usually a fingerprint scanner, to grant access to the safe.  All you do is place your index on the scanner and the door will open if it’s a match.  These are possibly the most secure locking mechansims available today.  Biometric safes also support multiple users and provide tracking ability as well.  Electronic safes are available for storage of valuables, media storage and gun storage.  For more information on electronic safes.
